After you have figured out the best place for an outdoor fireplace you should start by choosing the material. Based on your budget and preferences you can choose either stone or brick. Brick is a bit cheaper and quicker to work with; on the other hand, stone will definitely give a much better design. Firstly, you will have to pour a good base for your fireplace. After finishing that you can move on and start building a layer. Done with that, figure out what type of fireplace you want and then you are able to build up the sides. Be sure that there will be enough venting space left in the top.
