Wood stoves are simple, convenient, economical and environment- friendly appliances used to heat your home. In the recent decades much research and development has been dedicated to wood stoves to make them more efficient and less harmful for the environment. More specifically, wood stoves nowadays are state-of-the-art appliances which have the capacity to heat an entire house; of course they can also be used as secondary zone heaters. Wood stoves are designed to produce almost no smoke and to burn the wood entirely. In addition they produce minimal quantities of ash and usually require relatively little amounts of firewood. What is more, wood stove’s construction is extremely air tight and durable, with clearances to walls that can in some instances be as little as six inches.
Wood stoves are mostly constructed from steel, cast-iron or soapstone and are designed to blend in with a home’s interior design. In order to make your wood stove more in tune with your taste and preferences, there are many options how to make your wood stove look stylish. For example they are manufactured with windows for viewing and are available in many styles and almost all colors. In addition, the pipe is designed to be sleek and colored to match the stove.

Comment by: Amy LaPierre 2009-10-12 19:48 | I have the same stove and also used old dowels for handles. Now all I need is replacement tiles for the front of the stove. Any suggestions where to get them? The dealer in the area can't order them, since my stove is no longer being made.

Comment by: Paula Hammett 2011-12-10 17:16 | We have a I'm guessing 70's model blaze king with the drop down door..the ceramic center tile is broken and I'd like to find replacement parts. Our handles burned off many years ago, my husband made some out of hickory..they look nice, but it would be nice to have a center tile back again. If I can't find one, I'm toying with getting a stone cut to fit.
thanks for any help..
